Sculptor Bill Starke, born in 1946, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1973 from Metropolitan State College in Denver having majored in Drawing and Printmaking. For the past several years Starke has worked exclusively in bronze. "Human Beings interacting, colliding, cooperating, striving and achieving are the themes I wish to portray in my sculptures."
Exhibitions of Starke’s work have been held at the Denver Art Museum, the Denver Museum of Natural History, the Loveland Art Museum, and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, just to name a few.
Starke's work can be found in the most select galleries across the U.S. as well as in Mexico and France. Additionally, collectors from Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Russia and Sweden own Starke’s work.
