Anne Lorance
A
native of Indiana, Cheryl Anne Lorance received both her undergraduate and Master's
degrees from Ball State University in sculpture and bronze patination. After
graduation Lorance worked at two bronze art foundries and served an apprenticeship
in glass casting. Bronze has been Cheryl's favored material. Her sculptures are
produced using the lost-wax casting method. Each embodies a delightful, whimsical
quality. Lorance's
work can be found in twenty galleries from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Jersey,
Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida to New Mexico, Montana, and
California plus Ohio and Louisiana. She has had her work shown at the prestigious
Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver; Baltimore's American Craft Council Show
and Paradise City Arts Festival in Marlborough MA. Cheryl's work was selected
for exhibitions in Knoxville, KY; LasVegas, NV and Virginia Beach VA. It's hard
to fathom Cheryl has done all of this and is only in her early thirties! |
