Identical twin daughters, Alicia and Beatriz Kelemen, opened a glass art studio with their parents in 1983. Native Venezuelans the studio was located in Caracas. After studying in the U.S. and Germany, the Kelemen sisters moved to Boston in 1991. Since 2005 the Kelemen twins have made Asheville, North Carolina their home. Their work is sold under the name K4 GLASSART.
Represented worldwide in fine art and museum exhibitions, Kelemen glass, GLASSART, is in prestigious public and private collections. The White House, Denmark Glass Museum permanent collection, the Juan Pablo II Cathedral in Venezuela, the King of Spain, the King of Jordan, and Arnold Schwarzenegger all own K4 GLASSART pieces. |
