New York native, Liz Cummings has a background in technical drawing, which is evident in the sense of balance and color in her abstract work. Working with light and movement in the canvas, Cummings achieves a great feeling of depth and perspective.
For 30 years Cummings has been successfully painting for a living, during which time collectors from all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe have purchased her work. To her credit, Cummings work has been featured in Metropolitan Home Magazine and her art hangs in the permanent collection of Children's Hospital Boston in Beverly Hills, CA.
In Dec 2007, Cummings was an invited artist to the Florence Biennale, Italy. From 2000-2007 Cummings has been invited to participate in the La Quinta Festival of Arts, Palm Springs, CA. In 2006, the prestigious Sausalito Art Festival, Sausalito, CA included Cummings as an exhibitor.
