Alex Abajian

Alex Abajian says "My paintings begin as a shape that is always altered and often eliminated as the image develops. By building up multiple layers of oil paint mixed with a glazing medium the painting will gradually begin to take it's own direction. The work is loosely narrative and open to individual interpretation: each piece has no specific message nor are they statements. I liken the images to looking out the window of a moving car and seeing something that only registers hours or days later."
